Scott Barry Kaufman

 

Scott Barry Kaufman, a leading researcher in intelligence and creativity, is recognized among the top 1% of cited scientists globally. He founded the Center for Human Potential and Self-Actualization Coaching and hosts the popular podcast The Psychology Podcast, which has over 30 million downloads. His research and writings, including the influential book Transcend: The New Science of Self-Actualization, focus on unlocking human potential and addressing the needs of creative individuals with learning disabilities. Kaufman has taught at prestigious institutions like Columbia and Yale and was named one of Business Insider's "50 groundbreaking scientists" in 2015. His past roles include director of research at the 2e Center and scientific director of the Imagination Institute. Beyond academia, Kaufman is involved in arts, with experience as a vocal performer and a cellist.

 


Julie Wigton

 

Julie Wigton is a leading international educational consultant specializing in early childhood education. Since 2000, she has consulted for our school, evaluating and assessing their approach for programs from Toddler to K-12. She conducts workshops globally, including in the USA, Singapore, Indonesia, UAE, South Korea, St. Croix, Bermuda, Canada, Mexico, and China. Her roles encompass mentoring educators, presenting at conferences, developing policy manuals and handbooks, and promoting through various media. Additionally, she co-teaches, establishes parenting programs, and offers specialized courses in preschool and infant/toddler curricula, as well as Trainer of Trainers courses.

 


Aaron Eisberg

 

Aaron Eisberg, with a background in K-5 science education and instructional design, is currently the Learning Coordinator at the Center for Excellence at New Technology High School, where he develops content, leads professional learning, and supports student-led initiatives. He has extensive experience advising K-12 systems on project-based learning, effective assessment, and student achievement. In addition, Eisberg collaborates with Hinge Education to enhance problem and project-based learning worldwide and is a long-standing member of the Buck Institute for Education National Faculty. He holds a B.S. in Natural Science from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Indiana University Bloomington, along with multiple teaching credentials.

 


Mike Anderson

 

Mike Anderson, an educator with over 20 years of experience, has taught at various levels from preschool to university graduate classes. He received the national Milken Educator Award in 2004 and was a finalist for NH Teacher of the Year in 2005. Anderson has also served as a presenter, consultant, author, and developer for the Northeast Foundation for Children, known for its Responsive Classroom approach. As an independent education consultant, he supports schools in the U.S. and internationally, and has led workshops in Canada, Mexico, and at national conferences like NCTE and ASCD. He has authored several influential books on teaching, including "The First Six Weeks of School," "The Well-Balanced Teacher," and "Learning to Choose, Choosing to Learn," the latter of which was distributed to over 62,000 educators worldwide.

 


Kenneth Shelton

 

Ken is a renowned and multi-award-winning education professional and best-selling author with over 20 years of experience, specializing in educational technology, learning experience design, and leadership development. Holding a Master’s degree in Education focused on Educational Technology and New Media Design, he is a sought-after thought leader and policy advisor, including serving on a California State Superintendent’s Education Technology Task Force. Ken is acclaimed for his contributions to digital learning and equity, receiving accolades such as the Digital Equity Professional Learning Network Excellence Award and the CUE Platinum Disc Award. His expertise extends to organizational leadership, policy development, and the emerging field of Artificial Intelligence, where he co-authored The Promises and Perils of AI in Education. Ken's global influence includes speaking at international conferences and advising on diversity, equity, and inclusion in technology and education, striving to create equitable and inclusive learning environments.

 


Sean Layne

 

Sean Layne, a Washington, D.C. native with a B.F.A. in acting and training in London, is the founder of Focus 5 Inc., a consulting firm specializing in arts integration for Pre K-12 education. He designs and presents professional development workshops for teachers and training seminars for teaching artists, including for The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where he is also an Arts Coach for the Changing Education Through the Arts (CETA) program. With over 30 years in arts integration, Sean has worked as a Master Artist for the Wolf Trap Institute Early Learning Through the Arts since 1989, creating and piloting new residency and workshop models. He has also acted, directed, and designed sets for InterAct Story Theatre, which has served over 4,000 educational and cultural institutions globally.
